Large Garden in Hertfordshire

This is a large designed garden in Letchworth where the focus is very much on providing a beautiful setting for the Arts and Crafts style buildings. The patio is proportionate to the house and features a blend of old and new. Existing yorkstone onsite has been blended with more regular indian stone while less suitable materials have been used to create a low retaining wall to the area.

The planting is still immature but will provide all year round colour and interest while enhancing a sense of enclosure. The hot tub is set into the slope. A summerhouse, a pond / rill and a tree seat will also feature in the completed landscape design.
