Streetscapes in Maastricht

By removing some of the brickwork, the designer is able to give the view a peek at how the building operates. This feature may not have been initially part of the designers 'vision'. I recall seeing a horrible crack form in this area during the building works and it may be the case that this artful solution was devised in order to hide a mistake.
