Peter contributes to a number of publications. His garden designs have been reviewed within the Garden Design Journal which is the official publication of the Society of Garden Designers. In recent years, peters writing on the use of modern technologies within the garden design process has been much sought after.

Additionally, Peters' construction detail drawings have been used in such books as 'Natural Swimming Pools' and 'Landscape Details - Water Features' both by Michael Littlewood.

More recently, Peter Thomas' illustrations were used to show the design plans used within the RHS 'Encyclopedia of Garden Design'
